What I have to say about Fathers Day
I’m learning every day of my adult life how fathers shape who we are.
How the way the way they love at home has shaped our worldview of love. A hundred hurtful breakups later, we still believe strongly in love because our fathers loved our mothers and poured their affection on us.
Daddies always find a way to show up for us, to be our financial backbone when everything is crashing down.
They are the reason why we are not sticking with the man with money that leaves us feeling like shit. Our daddy would always be there for us.
I’m grateful for dads that show their sons how to be great Fathers. They are intentional about how they love despite human flaws. I’m grateful for fathers that birth the best boyfriends, who make the world a happier place for women.
Cheers to all the men that strive every day to be fathers.

Big bets by Rajiv Shah. Got this book at his book reading event and I can proudly say I have my first book with the author’s autograph. The man is the president of the Rockefeller foundation . In case you don’t know, the Rockefeller foundation is a global institution with a mission to promote the well-being of humanity around the world. Basically one of the biggest philanthropy organization in the world and they are worth 6.3 billion dollars.
Note: if you find my currently reading post today un-genZ like; it’s because I got this book from a work event filled with all generations but gen Z.
